Ross Taylor About Pakistan Cricket Team
Ross Taylor: Pakistan Should Not Focus on Other Teams.
Famed New Zealand master Ross Taylor brought out how Pakistan is no more with the T20 2024 and the United States (USA), as a result, squeezed to the Super 8 finals of the tournament.
The game In Sunshine State between the U.S. and Ireland was rained out and the teams took a point each, resulting in the host’s win of qualifying for the Super 8 which was enough to do so.
Such a game had some quality entertained. Many batsmen created an upset but it was actually the bowlers who have been the real stars in the first sixteen games,” he said.
“Their immediate focus will be getting back together and getting a refresh at the Super Eights whereas, I think the draw side can be any winner side, as we saw with South Africa and Nepal. I would think that this USA team has a trick or two left in their bag,” Taylor shared his views on Star Sports.
Ross Taylor hailed the introduction of the Major Cricket League (MCL) have been very beneficial to the growth of the US cricket and announced the League as a vehicle for player exposure.
“USA national team, they’ve got the letter, they’ve done it, they have brought it out so well and the world through their brand of cricket. I think MCL starting last year would have given them some confidence in playing against world-class players day in and day out,” he inserted.
We have to say that it was very disappointing for Pakistan that was the favorite of them to qualify in Super 8. But after the encounter of the USA and Pakistan in the opening game and the success of the USA in the first match and the follow India-USA match, things were getting a lot more difficult for them, parting from the fact that they were also dealing with the hard weather conditions.
“No, exactly, that is so. Do I surprise?
Of course, the favourites were Pakistan and they had to go through. However, the USA was, you must understand it, I guess, after that win against Pakistan, the better team. And with the weather around,” he reported.
