Renowned Stage Actor Sardar Kamal has Passed Away in Lahore

Lahore: Renowned stage actor Sardar Kamal has passed away in Lahore. He had a long-standing heart ailment.

According to the family, Sardar Kamal suffered a heart attack that proved fatal. He was 58 years old.

Sardar Kamal is survived by two sons and a daughter. One of his sons lives in England.

The actor’s body has been sent to his hometown, Faisalabad.

Sardar Kamal worked with prominent stage actors of his time, including Afzal Ahmed, Qavi Khan, Sohail Ahmed, Umar Sharif, and Amanullah.

His notable contributions to the film industry include movies like “Chooriyan” and “Desan Da Raja.” He also acted in several Indian Punjabi films, including “Dramay Aalay.”

Chairman of the Punjab Theatre Producers Association, Qaiser Sanaullah, and prominent drama writer Dr. Ajmal Malik, along with other notable figures from stage, television, and film, have expressed their condolences on Sardar Kamal’s passing.
