The government assigns them important roles and responsibilities.
Educational Qualifications and Age Limits:
Annually, FPSC announces this examination. Graduates (Arts, Science, Commerce, Medical, or Engineering) with a second division, aged between 21 and 30 years, are eligible to appear. Special individuals have a relaxation of 2 years in age. Applications for October and November exams are filled out. Candidates who pass the screening test are eligible to take the written test.
Exam Centers:
CSS exams are held in approximately 19 cities across the country, including Abbottabad, Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Dera Ismail Khan, Faisalabad, Gilgit, Gujranwala, Hyderabad, Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Larkana, Multan, Muzaffarabad, Peshawar, Quetta, Rawalpindi, and others.
Exam procedure:
This year, significant changes have been made to the CSS exams. A screening test has been approved before the CSS exams. The screening test consists of 200 marks. Those who pass this test can take the written test. The written test consists of 200 MCQs covering English, Pakistan Studies, Islamic Studies, and General Science + Mathematics.
Candidates wishing to appear in CSS exams must first clear the screening test. After that, they can submit their applications on the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) portal. However, applicants must submit a hard copy of their application along with necessary documents to the FPSC headquarters after clearing the MPT test.
Optional subjects have been revised, and mandatory subjects remain the same.
